Paul Mesner Puppet Show
We went to see Miss Mary Mack and Other Rhymes today. All of the children joined in on many of the Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes and also clapped to the beat as some of the rhymes were rapped to original music. We learned that string puppets are called marionettes and that they are guided differently, by an airplane or an upright controller. There were many props and some puppets that had a rod. With more than 20 characters in the show presented, it was performed by only two puppeteers. WOW! What a show. Thanks for allowing your child to attend.
Valentine Party
We would like to say thank you to all parents and grandparents who sent in items for the party and to those who attended! We had a wonderful time playing the games, guessing the number of hearts, putting puzzles together, and eating snacks. All of the Valentine boxes and hearts for our Valentine Bulletin Board were adorable. Thank you so much for your help in making this a very special holiday for your child. Miss Masters took lots of photos of our day.

Center Time
We chose to do puzzles and white boards for center time. You can see we love to write and illustrate. Also, the boys had a lot of fun cooperating to complete the barn puzzle!

Hard Working Kindergarten Kids Need a Rest
After working very hard all morning, our kindergarten students needed a break. We rested for a few minutes to get our brains and bodies ready to go to Rooster Time.
