Math Jelly Bean Graphing

On Thursday we used jelly beans to sort, count, and graph. Then we analyzed our data by illustrating two sets and writing what we noticed about those two sets. Some students told which set had more or less. Others attached numbers using the math vocabulary words same, greater than, and less than. Some even wrote addition equations, joining the sets together. We had a good time working on this activity and our work shows we are becoming more accurate with our counting and recording.
